Staff

Medical Staff
Our staff members have all compiled an impressive and diversified resume prior to joining our team. Medical personnel typically have 10+ years of ICU, Emergency Room and/or busy 9-1-1 scene experience. The prior experience they bring to us is then continuously expanded and supplemented by our ongoing training and personnel development. This ensures that when it matters, your loved one's life couldn't be in better hands.
Flight Crews
Rest assured that the captain of your flight will be a highly trained veteran of the aviation industry. All of our captains are ATP rated (Airline Transport Pilot) and receive initial and recurrent training at the world renowned Flight Safety International. They also complete additional company training and FAA administered check rides to ensure that they are continuously able to perform at the level we demand.
Our Fleet
Air Medical operates and maintains its own fleet of aircraft, thereby assuring that it provides the latest and best in medical technology and specialized equipment configured for patient safety and comfort.

Certifications
All aircraft in Air Medical’s fleet are certified as mobile intensive care units. Operated by FAA certificate VDNA923B. Air Medical is CAMTS accredited, ARGUS rated, and all of our pilots go through rigorous simulator based training annually. We are also members of and support the trade organizations AAMS, TAAMS, STRAC and NBAA.
CAMTS is the only agency to offer worldwide standards and accreditation for ground, helicopter and fixed-wing transport systems. This is a voluntary review process that covers every aspect of the Air Medical operation from aircraft safety to patient medical care. CAMTS accreditation is required for air ambulance companies used by the U.S. Department of Defense, leading medical centers and travel assistance companies.
